Keith Urban

Details

Country music superstar Keith Urban signed his first major recording deal in Australia in 1990 and became a commercial success with four charted No. 1 hits. In pursuit of American success, Keith Urban relocated to Nashville, Tennessee in 1992 and found work as a guitarist for Brooks & Dunn. As front man of the trio The Ranch, Keith Urban disbanded from the group after the release of one album to pursue a solo career.

In 1999, Keith Urban released his first solo album Keith Urban to American markets. Keith Urban spawned three Top 5 tracks, including “Your Everything,” “But For the Grace of God,” and “Where the Blacktop Ends.” Known for his guitar-playing abilities, Keith Urban also made guitar appearances on albums for the Dixie Chicks, Charlie Daniels, Garth Brooks, Emerson Drive, and Paul Brandt.

The release of “Somebody Like You” from the album Golden Road made Keith Urban a household name in the country music arena, leading to Keith Urban’s headlining tour in 2004 sponsored by CMT. Charting hits like “Raining on Sunday,” “Who Wouldn’t Wanna Be Me,” and the smash crossover success “You’ll Think of Me,” Keith Urban quickly gained notoriety, headlining another tour in 2005. That same year, Keith Urban was crowned CMA’s Entertainer of the Year.

The hit single “Once in a Lifetime” made country music history as the highest charted country music song ever on the Billboard charts. Keith Urban’s Love, Pain and the Whole Crazy Thing has spawned the tracks “Stupid Boy,” “I Told You So,” and “Everybody.” After finishing up the
Love, Pain and the Whole Crazy Carnival Ride Tour alongside country music star Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban has a new album in the works set for a 2009 release. Order your Keith Urban tickets from OnlineTickets.com!
