Boston

Details

The words “Boston” and “Classic Rock” often appear in the same sentence and for good reason. With over 50 million albums sold and a permanent spot on radio, Boston has ruled rock since 1976. With the innovative guitar styles of Tom Scholtz and the vocals of late lead singer Brad Delp, Boston influenced a generation of musicians to come.

Soon after signing with Epic Records, Boston hit a mine of platinum with their debut album Boston, featuring legendary songs “More Than a Feeling,” “Foreplay/Long Time,” and “Peace of Mind.” A tour with Black Sabbath would start the momentum that would drive Boston to the status of American Rock Legends. Boston’s next album Don’t Look Back also went multi-platinum with “Don’t Look Back” being the popular single and radio staple to this day.

After a long and protracted showdown with the record label, Boston released Third Stage in 1986. Powered by the No. 1 single “Amanda,” Third Stage went five-times platinum. Brad Delp left Boston for a short time and Walk On was recorded with a replacement, but Brad Delp soon returned and Boston was back on track. A greatest hits album and the indie release Corporate America followed.

In 2007, tragedy struck Boston when Brad Delp committed suicide. With a collection of singers, Boston is going on tour in 2008, the spirit of Boston and Brad Delp is still running strong and is sure to electrify audiences across the nation. Enjoy the classic songs and energy that made Boston living legends when you order Boston concert tickets from OnlineTickets.com today!
