In Beatle-esque fashion, Jonas Brothers mania continues as millions of fans worldwide have been captivated by the Jonas Brothers’ innocent, fresh-faced take on Christian pop/rock. The talented band of brothers have hit it big since their 2006 debut “It’s About Time” and have only continued their claim to fame after touring with Hannah Montana in 2007.
Hailing from New Jersey, the Jonas Brothers’ success all started with Nick Jonas, who was discovered singing in a barber shop when he was seven and, soon after, landed a few major roles in musical productions. Nick wrote a song with his father entitled “Joy to the World (A Christmas Prayer)” which was released to Christian radio and became hugely popular. Soon, the Jonas Brothers’ were formed, and the trio began writing songs together.
After hearing The Jonas Brothers’ “Please Be Mine” Daylight/Columbia decided to sign the trio. The Jonas Brothers enjoyed instant success as they began to tour with other pop sensations like Kelly Clarkson, The Backstreet Boys, and Jesse McCartney. Over the next couple of years, the Jonas Brothers would produce two more albums entitled It’s About Time and The Jonas Brothers. These albums featured songs such as “Mandy,” “Hold On,” and “SOS.”
The Jonas Brothers released another album in 2008 entitled A Little Bit Longer in concordance with their touring plans. The Jonas Brothers are slated as the opening act for Avril Lavigne and the band Boys Like Girls for the second leg of a European Tour.
