Wayne Brady’s move proved lucrative as he was immediately picked up by Drew Carrey on the show hilarious improv show Whose Line is it Anyway? where Wayne Brady picked up a Primetime Emmy Award for “Outstanding Individual Performance in a Variety, Musical or Comedy Series” in 2003.
Since his improv days Wayne Brady, has immersed himself in television and film. Wayne Brady has had major and minor roles in numerous movies including Batman Beyond and Roll Bounce. Additionally, Wayne Brady also guest starred on many sitcoms and other television series such as The Chapelle Show, Nick Cannon’s Wild’n’Out, How I Met Your Mother, Dirt, and Everybody Hates Chris to name a few.
Wayne Brady starred in his own variety show in 2001 called The Wayne Brady Show for two seasons which earned him four more Primetime Emmys. Currently, Wayne Brady hosts the popular contest show called Don’t Forget the Lyrics! while headlining Wayne Brady: Making it Up at the Venetian in Las Vegas four nights a week.
