The Milwaukee Bucks could muster only 26 wins last season. This season, Coach Scott Skiles and a roster of new faces will look to right the ship. By teaming explosive scorer Richard Jefferson with top scorer Michael Redd and Aussie sensation Andrew Bogut, the Milwaukee have a Big Three that is sure to turn heads and power the Bucks’ drive back into the Eastern Conference playoffs for the first time since the 2005-06 season.
Sharp shooter Michael Redd is coming off an Olympic Gold Medal has the chance to be the veteran leader of a young team on the rise. After locking up a hefty long-term contract this past summer, Andrew Bogut is due for a breakout season and will bring toughness, low-post scoring, and rebounding savvy to the Milwaukee Bucks lineup. In the absence of Mo Williams, Richard Jefferson provides size at the small forward position and scoring from the outside.
With talent up and down the line, Jefferson, Redd, and Bogut may shoulder much of the offensive load, but Charlie Villanueva, former Seattle Supersonics point guard Luke Ridnour, and No. 8 draft pick Joe Alexander will bring certain intangibles to the Bucks roster.
