Under the leadership of head coach Jeff Genyk, the Eastern Michigan Eagles swept their in-state opponents and made remarkable improvements in 2007. A talented and experienced offense will lead the way as the Eastern Michigan Eagles attempt to win the MAC and continue their dominance over rivals Central Michigan Chippewas and Western Michigan Broncos. With the Eastern Michigan Eagles football team on the comeback trail, Rynearson Stadium is bound to be filled with a sea of Green and White.
The Eastern Michigan Eagles basketball team had its most successful run in the MAC in its history in the 2007-08 season. Head coach Charles Ramsey has taken the once cellar-dwelling Eastern Michigan Eagles to contenders for the MAC Title. With all the key players returning and a new culture of winning instilled in them, the Eastern Michigan Eagles are a team to watch. The state-of-the-art Convocation Center will play home court as the Eagles make history.
