With a long history that spans more than a century, the Arizona Cardinals are the oldest pro-football team in the league. Though the Arizona Cardinals have fielded talented teams in the past, the Super Bowl has always eluded them. Second-year head coach Ken Whisenhunt brings a winning and aggressive mentality to the Arizona Cardinals. The Cards finished at 8-8 on the season, but have certainly shown signs of greatness.

Returning from injury, southpaw QB Matt Leinart is back to run the Cardinals’ impressive offensive machine. Wide outs Anquan Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald form the best receiving duo in the NFL, while RB Edgerrin James pounds the rock to ease the pass rush. The hybrid defense of the Arizona Cardinals enables a variety of coverages and blitzes to be used to confuse opponents. MLB Karlos Dansby and DL Darnell Dockett lead the defense, with versatile rookie DE Calais Campbell moving all over the field to exploit match ups.

The Arizona Cardinals are in the hunt for the NFC West title this season. While the St. Louis Rams and San Francisco 49ers are still dangerous opponents, the real challenge will be perennial NFC West king Seattle Seahawks. In non-divisional play, the Arizona Cardinals will continue their longtime rivalry with the Dallas Cowboys and meet the New England Patriots on their home turf.
